Cristian Van Gurgel is a DJ and producer from Slovenia.He is one of many talented producers that knows how to deal with sound and beats, but has a unique sound.He also runs the successful 7.23 Records label.His production skills soon brought him to the attention of djs worldwide and global bookings soon followed.Behind a pair of CDJs, he is delivering one heel of a performance, playing hundreds of nights, and in front of hundreds of clubbers.This kind of success did not go unnoticed, as he was asked to DJ at some of the best venues in the world. His DJ career started in year 2002 when he started playing in clubs and open air parties in his homeland.At the beginning, his sound was mostly influenced by the German and Slovenian techno scene.Today he is playing and producing genres like techno minimal, tech-house, electro house, progressive house and progressive trance.His mix sets are dynamic and uplifting, flavoured with few vocals and good drive.He is always trying to connect with people and make a good atmosphere on the dance floor.

EL FABIIANI (DJ/PRODUCER/REMIXER/OWNER OF LABEL FABIIANI RECORDS)

El Fabiiani aka Athletic Beats is Novo mesto (Slovenia) based dj&producer, who started exploring electronic music scene at early age of 13 . Meeting a Slovenian pioneer of hip-hop music Ali En (Dalaj Eegol) on his tour, was a beginning of a first small steps and his passion to became dj was born. When he was 15 he bought equipment that he needed.After playing in local clubs and pubs, he had won a dj competition in club Marshall and became resident dj in club Marshall. He was also resident in discoteca Africa for 2 years. His style is unique mutant mixture selection of techno,tech-house,minimal,astrodisco and electro sounds with tasty flavour for people on dancefloor. With his first release on Elettrika Records (Italy), he had shown his talent for producing music with Five points EP. On Russian page www.simbamusic.ru they selected his track Kriva gajzla for top 10 tracks in september 2008. He is preparing new interesting material for worldwide distribution.

IVAN KOMLINOVIC (DJ/PRODUCER/REMIXER)

Born 22nd of June 1976 in Zagreb, Ivan was connected to all types of music since early childhood. Since he was 13, he’s been deeply interested in development of Hi-Fi electronics and a frequent guest in most of the specialized stores and local Hi-Fi fares, building up his knowledge and becoming a competent critic. He got into the world of electronic music in the beginning of the 90′s (in that time as a part of very narrow audience and without previous musical knowledge) and simply fell in love with new way of communication in and through music.
His encounter with DJ profession happened in 1993, when he stood behind a home-made mixing surface for the first time and came across the term beat-mixing. Through his first, unselected record purchases he got to know most of the sub-styles in electronic dance music and out of the whole selection, Ivan completely found himself in various styles of techno. Years of intensive observation and following-up of the whole scene, combined with hundreds of hours practicing mixing techniques and all kinds of DJ exibitions, finally pushed him to develope his own perspective toward electronic music, with very particular way of its presentation.
Todays performance he does using his beloved Macbook pro and Allen & Heath Xone DX running 4 deck Serato Itch. Judging by music style he’s a techno DJ, but alltough the majority of his set is techno oriented, he often plays new skool minimalistic techno/house tunes, considering cronological or style boundaries to be boring and outdated. That’s why he doesn’t think much of the DJ’s that always and for hours and hours play the same or similar limited sound.
He’s not liable to fullfill wishes of audience while «working» on the set, but his goal is to animate the audience with music and approach that are apropriate in the ambient itself, the mood and his own impression of the moment. He never makes the set in advance, but keeps several rules in mind, rules that are differently presented on every occasion: every show has to have its introduction, culmination, plot and disentanglement.
Today he is definitely one of the leading artists at Croatian scene.
Ivan’s DJ set is journey through techno styles builded arround strong musical base and his lively improvisation. Technical skills helps him to add even more dynamic to his musical approach when needed.

Ever since the age of five, Mad Funker has been inspired by music, and after playing several instruments found his way to the electronic music scene in 2003. Enthusiastic about the rhythm and power of the music he bought his first DJ & production-equipment in 2006 and ever since then he has been pushing his limits on a never-ending quest to better himself and his productions.

MAFU NAKYFU (DJ/PRODUCER/REMIXER)

Fuma Funaky aka Mafu Nakyfu; producer, DJ and we could go like this on and on; and still we wouldnt come to an end. These are just 2 basic things which could describe this 23 year old slovenian techno head from Brezice – Slovenia. His first touch with an electronic music came when he was only 14 years old. He already knew what he want to do, what he want to play and create. He already got himself into DJing; and all he has to say is: »Techno was, techno is and techno will allways be a part of my life and i dont want to change that for no price!«
As a youngster and as a new motor of slovenian techno scene, he has played in various slovenian clubs & festivals. In the meantime his wish was to create his own style and he has done it. Fuma´s hardgroove techno sets, moving on the stage, that energy he is creating are just pointers to understand the move of Fuma Funaky. In the past few years his knowledge has gathered at his studio, where true pounding beats are on the roll. Fuma´s music has been released on several labels worldwide: Techno Addicted, Insulated room, Fabiani Rec… His single EP called SHAJBA, released on Insulated Room rec got lots of praise, support and interest from many labels out there.
In the past he worked with many well known names, such as: Dave Cark, Obi, Waldhaus, Viper XXL, Gregg Notill, Umek, Veztax, Shark, Jaka, Aleksij, Eddie F… Soon he has realised that a new interest drop in. And Mafu Nakyfu has been created. Tech-house project as a new line in his life, means only one thing: Creative and unique approach as Fuma »divided«!

SHANN TEE (DJ/PRODUCER/REMIXER)

“As a DJ in the 21st century, the world- plus the club, the studio, the boardroom and the bedroom-is my oyster.”.. …. Shann Tee is a 21st century dj, born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Electronic music started to interest him at early age. He started to work with turntables in 2006, when he managed to win 2nd place on a DJ competition at club Marshall, Novo Mesto. From then on, his dj career started developing. He found passion for clear deep electro house with dynamic and fast beats. With that kind of drive, he will certainly boost you into another dymension of electronic music. He was guest dj at the following locations: club Africa, T-club, club Bollywood, club Marshall, with djs like: Aleksij, Slider, Viktoria Rebeka, Robert G Roy, El Fabiiani and many others… He was mostly influenced by: Alex Kenji, Dave Spoon, Tocadisco and Chris Lake. Shan Tee has only just began his musical jurney, but he is mooving forward fast and with much compassion to satisfy the most demanding crowd.
